Q: What do the markings on the bottom of my Zippo lighter mean?
A: The markings at the bottom of our Zippo lighter cases are identification codes, which enable us to determine in what month and year a particular Zippo lighter was manufactured. These codes change from year to year. For details on these markings, please visit bottoms up.
   
Q: Where do I send my lighter for repairs??
A:

You can send your lighter directly to our head office/manufacturing plant in Bradford, Pennsylvania.

 All repairs for Zippo products, with exception of MPL & MiniMPL should be sent for repair to: If you reside in Canada and are the owner of either MPL or Mini MPL lighters, please send for repair to:

Please make sure when packing your lighter use a sturdy box or a padded envelope and also make sure that all of the fluid is drained and evaporated from the lighter before sending it. For more details, see our repair information page.
